PROVIDE SCALABLE, CUSTOMIZED ACCESS

With TinyTERM Plus Edition, you can customize access depending on your company's needs. You can provide just one user with access to your host or provide access to your entire company. TinyTERM Plus can be installed one PC at a time, place the software on your intranet so users can download and install as needed, or perform automated installs to multiple PC's on your network without user input.

KEEP YOUR DATA SAFE

TinyTERM uses industry standard 1024 bit SSH encryption (SSH1 and SSH2), and a variety of cipher types to protect your data. File transfers are also encrypted with the strong-encryption SCP protocol. Secure Shell 1024-bit encryption delivers, either locally or remotely, the most secure UNIX and IBM host access possible.

ACCESS YOUR LEGACY HOST THROUGH A WEB-BROWSER INTERFACE

If you choose, you can access your IBM and UNIX hosted data and applications through the convenience of a Web-browser interface. TinyTERM is pre-configured to work right out of the box without any modifications to your host or to your desktop keyboard.

TinyTERM Plus Edition accurately recreates all the popular terminal emulations, including Wyse 60 and 50; SCO ANSI; AT386; DEC VT320, 220, 100 and 52; and IBM 3151, TN5250, and TN3270.

WORK LESS

TinyTERM Plus Edition includes a powerful scripting language (CScript) you can use to customize and automate your work in thousands of time-saving ways. You can customize and automate everything from host connectivity procedures, file transfers, network polling, log-ins, log-outs, backups, shutdowns, etc. Say 'no-thanks' to extra work. Automate your repetitive tasks with TinyTERM and CScript.

PROVIDE FILE AND PRINTER ACCESS CENTRALLY THROUGH SAMBA (SMB)

Samba SMB server-side file sharing for SCO allows your UNIX host to look and act like a Windows NT server, allowing your entire organization to share files and printers between Windows and UNIX without any desktop installation.

SHARE PRINTERS THROUGH LPR/LPD UTILITIES

TinyTERM Plus includes LPR and LPD utilities that allow you to print from your desktop application to any printer on the network (including PC, UNIX and Novell network printers). In addition, UNIX applications can print to any PC printer. Transparent printing is also supported, allowing printing through the terminal data stream -- extending the benefits of a server-based printer setup to any PC printer.

POWERFUL NETWORKING SOLUTIONS

With the Network File System (NFS) that comes with TinyTERM Plus, you have transparent file access between your PC and UNIX system. You can mount and access file drives on UNIX, NT, or your PC system as local drives. TinyTERM includes both NFS client and server for quick, reliable connections between your desktop computer and your UNIX and NT servers. * NFS works with Windows 95, 98 and NT 4.0.

MOVE YOUR DATA SAFELY

TinyTERM Plus includes Century FTP Plus - a graphical file transfer tool to move your data safely. Century FTP uses the standard FTP or strong-encrypted SCP protocols. For mainframes that don't support FTP or SCP, TinyTERM supports IND$FILE transfer options.

FEELING NOSTALGIC?

That's fine - leave the green screen how it is. If you're tired of staring at the old-school color scheme, change it to whatever you want. TinyTERM Plus allows you to set the terminal window background with any color or .bmp file you wish. Your company logo, a nice nature scene or a recent snapshot of your kids. No more looking at the 'green screen' - unless you want to. You can also choose any TrueType font as your display font. It will scale up and down based on the size of the terminal window. Forgot your glasses? set TinyTERM to use full-screen display.

With TinyTERM Plus, you have complete flexibility in mapping font color and attributes, such as normal, reverse, bold, underline, blink, high and low bright, strike through, and double strike. You have complete control over how host data is displayed. Highlight important fields on the screen, making them easier to locate and read. Never miss another credit-hold or negative inventory amount.

EVEN MORE CONTROL STILL

Support unlimited fonts, multinational keyboards, and host character sets TinyTERM Plus can display any character or glyph (including the Euro symbol), solving virtually every multinational display problem. Simply select the font you like, its sequence, and TinyTERM does the rest for you. You get accurate, properly formatted character displays from the host. With support for multinational keyboards and host character sets, TinyTERM Plus is the perfect solution for global host access.

CODE PAGE SUPPORT

With TinyTERM, you have total code page flexibility. You can choose your keyboard code page, the transmit code page, and the receive code page to ensure compatibility with nearly any system in the world. You can choose from the many standard code pages included, or you can customize your own. To ensure proper translation, TinyTERM uses a 16-bit TERM Character Set (TCS) that supports up to 768 characters, enabling TinyTERM to work accurately with any modern language used in the computer industry.
